Battery is lasting half as long as before update 6.60. Not using the instinct any different. Only difference is the update. Anyone else experiencing this?

After each new installed software update, always be sure to do the following:

1) Turn your watch off then back on again

If behavior is abnormal, such as the fast battery drain you have experienced…

Personally, I have no problems with the battery life after the update, but there were minimally two other users complaining about it too (check out the Related threads here on the right side). Perhaps it is limited to some specific serie of Instinct, since most people do not have these problems. I'd suggest contacting the local support of Garmin.

If behavior is abnormal, such as the fast battery drain you have experienced, proceed to step #2.

2) With your watch on, hold down your top left power button until it shuts off, then let go.
