I know that calories are mainly calculated by your heart rate, but your BMI also plays a big role of course. I would like to have weights on on my next walk and I want calories to be calculated correctly. I never track my walks, but the step counter increase of course and my heart rate. If I will wear the weights my heart rate will most likely be higher so I burn more calories, but will the calories burned be correct or do I have to adjust how much I weigh everytime I want to walk with weights? Cuz my BMI would change if I weigh more.
