Garmin Instinct the battery only holds for 1 h

Helo,

I would ask for help.
i love my Garmin watch and i am really frustrated that it no longer works like it used to.

The battery lasted 14 days and as of Sunday (after it was discharged) I had a problem with the battery life.
After charging the batteries, it will only last 1 hour in normal mode.

i cleaned the contacts, reset it but it didn't help.
also when I connect it to comp I do not see it as external memory.

Software version is 6.60.

Please help.

I think we need to determine if it’s a software issue or a hardware issue. Download Garmin Webupdater and re-install the software. Then test it out again and see if you get a battery drain. Since this watch doesn’t have the ability to download CIQ apps, it’s not a draining app.

If it’s still draining, then it’s most likely a hardware issue and you’d have to contact Garmin. As a last resort, you could try to download the beta software but again that’s a long shot.
