How can I reset the daily step counter in my Instinct?

Hey. I don’t know how to reset the daily STEP COUNTER in the device Instinct, to measure just a training. Thank you.

It is an automated process that takes place at midnight that you cannot manipulate since more and more insurance companies and employers are requiring people to wear their watch and demonstrate steps taken…

Hm, I work on the computer all day long, but do not get any false steps on my Instinct 2. I wear the watch on my left wrist, which is mostly reposed on the desk or on the keyboard, so it does not really move. If you wear the watch on the same hand that you use for the mouse, then consider using the other one for the watch.

Sorry about that. I do have an Instinct 2. Got sent to this page from a Google search and didnt realize it was for the 1st gen. But thank you for the info, it was helpful!
