Hi, could you ad and option to use m/s instead of what i guess is knots in the weather app?
Atleast in Sweden we commonly use m/s and i guess this might be the case for most of the EU.
Also its nice that you are adding new features :)

I believe the unit is km per hour for wind speed in weather widget. Anyway, the info about wind speed and direction in the widget is not much reliable...
km/h would mean that the numbers are very off, maby garmin can comment?
eitherway m/s options would be useful :)
I would like to have Joules instead of calories. But I think that nobody from Garmin is reading this forum BTW.
Jag har km/h. Hade varit nice med m/s vilket är en enhet man kan relatera till
vem i hela världen använder km/h :( jävla garmin
Well, I cannot help with changing the units on the watch, but it is not that difficut to convert it quickly in the head - 1km/h = 0.28m/s (rounded to two decimal places) it means approximately just little bit above one quarter. So for example 10 km/h = 2.8 m/s, 5km/h = 1.4m/s, etc. I believe Garmin simply shows what's reported by the phone's system weather data provider over the standard system channel. On some phones, you may be able to change the units in the OS weather app. Alternatively, install a weather app sending the wind speed in m/s to the watch in a notification.
... I tested several weather apps, and for example the 1Weather app allows you setting up the notifications so that they include also the wind in m/s. You can also set up the frequency of the notifications from 15min to 12 hours
Did some testing and seems to be more consistent with knots.
1 Knot=
Mph: 1.15078
Km/h: 1.852

As I wrote, the wind speed is reported by the OS weather data provider, so the units may vary depending on your phone's localized settings. I am not sure whether GC or the watch do any further conversion of the data comming from the OS data service, but it is quite possible that not. So if you are in the USA, the windspeed may be indeed in knots, and in Europe it is more likely to have km/h. Personally, I get the windspeed in km/h (being in Europe)
I'm from Europe and we had some heavy storms lately and the measurement could not have been in km/h. Had some heavy winds and only 20 shown on the Instinct. m/s seemed a little bit too excesive.
