Not possible on Instinct (without hacking the firmware). Custom layouts, symbols, and apps are available only on the recent models supporting the Connect IQ technology, and Instinct is not among them.
The only way you can customize the pictogram, is copying one of the existing activities (i.e XC Ski) when creating your "Snowshoeing", insted of creating it from the scratch as a new activity. When you…
