Soft feeling/No click button possible fix

I ended up getting the watch replaced twice.  The last time I sold it and bought a Fenix 6.

How long did the replacement take? 

I contacted Customer services and I am going to return the watch for a replacement. 

The guidelines say " 1. Package your device, making sure your return address is on the box. Please do not send any accessories such as watch bands, SD cards or cables. Garmin will not be responsible for returning additional items included in the package."

Does this mean I should take the watch band off the instinct and send just the unit for service/replacement? Or does it just refer to not including additional spare bands?

No, just any extra bands you may have.

I was given two options for return. 

1) No cost: Send in your watch and wait for replacement watch.

2) Deposit:  Pay up front the cost of refurb and keep your watch until replacement arrives.  Then send original watch back and deposit will be refunded once Garmin receives.

Thanks for your reply.  I don't think I was given the deposit option. Went with the no cost return. My lower backs been playing up so probably a good time as any to be without the watch, although I have been using the timers a lot for stretches and physio. 

Also, if your anyones annoyed with that then you can just turn on Key Vibe. It's like ambient touch on the iPhone.

I'm afraid mine is doing a similar thing. The back button seems to be stuck half-way in and doesn't pop back out completely after being pressed. It's getting harder to click it as well.  What's the protocol to get in touch with Garmin for a replacement or solution?
