Navigation issues

Hello,

I am using Instinct with SW 6.10 and I experienced some issues with navigation features:

When I save location via GPS hot key and edit the waypoint name by pushing down button, it edits the position I saved before. As a result the last position is overwritten by the one I saved.
In January I was hiking with course navigation and it worked really nice. Last week I was hiking again. Navigation worked fine, except it didn't do turn by turn navigation. I am not able to make it work again (mapy.cz -> export GPX -> import to Connect web page -> sync via phone)

Are that problems with Instincts software or have I done something wrong?

Except for this Instinct works as they are supposed to and I am looking forward to the new Body Battery feature

to your 2. point - i have the same problem. i was hiking and i had a nice turn by turn navigation. one week later, i am not able to make it work again... i wrote an email to the german garmin support, but there is no help at this point. anyone around with an idea?

as far as I know instinct dosent have turn by turn

this is right, because the instinct dosent have any maps on it. i'm pretty sure that on one of my first hikes at the end of january, shortly before each curve, i got a hint when and in which direction i have to turn. moreover, I was not shown the distance to the final destination, but the distance to the next turn. if you get lost, however, no navigation was calculated. I'm not sure if you can call it turn-by-turn navigation, but I once had this function on my watch. the support doesn't know what i'm talking about, so maybe i dreamed after all ?! : D

Fenix 5 dosent have maps but it have turn by turn.

Good morning, sir,
I can confirm that my Garmin Instinct watch also gave me turn by turn!
I got this (to my great surprise) by doing a training run through the web application, Garmin Connect.

Hello,
I created a random path on garmin connect (via the web interface).
For a training session, I chose this course.
My watch showed me for each change of route, an indication in the upper part of my screen.
It told me for example in 60 meters right direction (I don't remember the exact terms ...)
That's the only time I took a random route.
I tried last night to reproduce the turn by turn, but I couldn't manage it...
Well it wasn't a random route, but a route I created by me on garmin connect.

J'ai créé un parcours aléatoire sur garmin connect (via l'interface web).
Dans le cadre d'un entrainement j'ai choisis ce parcours.
Ma montre m'affichait pour chaque changement de trajet, une indication dans la partie supérieur de mon écran.
Ca me disait par exemple dans 60 mètre direction droite (je ne me souviens plus des termes exactes...)
C'est la seule fois que j'ai parcouru un itinéraire aléatoire.
J'ai tenté hier soir de reproduire le turn by turn, mais je n'y suis pas arrivé...
Bon ça n'était pas un parcours aléatorie, mais un parours créé par mes soins sur garmin connect.

I have been having navigation issues of my own. I mark GPS locations on the watch and make waypoints then make courses. Now of all a sudden the are all being erased by the Garmin Explore App. Any suggestions? 8 have already done a reboot of the watch.

Instinct also has turn-by-turn navigation.
