swim distance says 350m then changed to 250m

Hi, I just updated to version 5.7 and did a pool swim earlier. After doing a few laps, the distance that was logged was at 350m then after a while it went down to 250m. Does anyone have this issue? I used the same watch for a pool swim last week with previous version and the distance was correct.

Did you count how much actually did you swim? If not then do it at first parallel to the watch and then come with results whether it's a problem or a correction to the right distance. I say so because somewhere between firmware 2.00 an 5.50 a lot of people shared in a facebook instinct group problems with counting pools right. I had these issues also rare. After updating to 5.70 although it’s not mentioned in „changes“ I saw some day ago a very good improvement in counting pools even if I stop in middle of the pool the watch counts pool right. What’s interesting (what you mention like the issue) that if watch counts pools number wrong and you stop and press rest button (set) than number of pools in the last repetition will be analyzed and corrected and almost every time it shows at the beginning the wrong number of pools like with accidental stops or anything else and after pressing the rest button corrects itself to the small distance.

Thanks. In my case, I didn't use the rest button (I wasn't aware of it until recently) and did the laps continuously. I was also not counting my laps manually so I cannot correlate.

Anyways, based from your reply there seems to be an auto correction going on. I though that maybe I have a defective watch or maybe a bug on the FW.
