Tilt backlight

Did all of that. Nothing helped. Left it over night and now it works. Really weird

Have you checked to make sure that the watch is set up for the wrist you wear it on? Long press Menu, then go to Settings > User Profile > Wrist

Yes it correct wrist. Dont know what was wrong. Everythong works now

mine has the same issue but it seems to be within an hour of midnite the gesture light function just stops working, real annoying.comes back until the next fail.

That's normal. It does not work during the Do Not Disturb time (sleep hours)

My instinct tactical just started the opposite problem.  The gesture backlight is turning on and the settings are set to OFF.  So I tried changing the setting to ON and now it does not turn on with wrist gesture.  Maybe try changing your setting to OFF.
