Floors climbed HUGELY inaccurate after 2.9 update (APAC unit)

My floors climbed has been wonky since the upgrade to 2.9. Was wondering if any else has experienced this?
Today, i did a hike with 580m of elevation gain, and about 577m of elevation loss, but i'm only registering 25 floors climbed, and 2 floors descended.

Has anyone experienced this? Also, any solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Today using the staircase in my house, my Fitbit has so far credited me with 7 floors, but my new Instinct only one. However the Instinct has awarded me 3 floors descended. How can this be?

Exactly, i've been having weird stuff like that happen to me, a lot!
  • Yes, I noticed a pretty big difference in floors climbed between 2.6/2.8 and 3.1/3.2 (never installed 2.9). For me, the 2.x releases over-counted floors climbed, typically doubling the floor count during running/hiking activities with elevation. Moving to 3.1 and then 3.2, floor climbed is erratic and often under-counted.

My altitude sensor seems to work reasonably well, as the elevation gain during activities is pretty close to accurate. I posted more details in the "Floors Climbed not Accurate in 3.2" thread below.
