I second the request for a "blackout" version. An all black Instinct would be terrific. Currently I have strapped on a black strap from the Fenix line on my grey Instinct. A black strap from the Instinct line would be a better fit and an all black Instinct would be even better. But then again.... first world problems for what is just a wonderful tool watch.
I'm perfectly happy with the dark grey I have, but I will add my vote to a blackout version as well, if it had been an option I would have went for that guaranteed. Actually at this point, the grey is the ONLY color option I'd consider out of them all.
I got some Chinese knock off bands in OD green and actual black I use with mine. They look really nice and you guys might think of beating them to the punch and just offer those colors yourself.
I'd also recommend a military like OD green color for the case, as well as sand, and brown as well. Basically the colors of woodland camo will really appeal to the outdoor types these are targeted at. We all have some clothing or gear in that color.
The pastel colors don't really fly with the rugged crowd who would really love the Instinct. Garmin has a passel of fitness watches for the urbanites, you want the rural types and outdoor enthusiasts to dig the Instinct.
Also military/LEO types will not have much if any interest in any flashy or bright color. I'm not myself but many of my friends are and I hear it all the time them complaining about products that are bright or flashy or easily noticed when exposed.
You bill the Instinct as the MIL spec tough GPS watch for the outdoors type, back it up with colors that match it's style.
