Hello all!
So Ive been using Garmin since 2007.
Forerunner 205 (LOVED this watch. Still have but it hasn't been charged/used since 2014 ish)
Forerunner 10 (Was not a fan)
Vivofit (Not a bad little device)
Vivoactive (Still gets my vote for the best of the VA line. Would still be using it, but its at the bottom of a lake)
Vivoactive HR (This thing was ugly)
Vivoactive 3 (Current wear. Battery life is getting worse. Issues with staying connected to iPhone XR sometimes)
Now I see this Instinct. And it looks amazing. I love that it has almost everything from the VA3 (minus golf that I dont play and VO2 Max that I dont care about) along with a lot of cool features from the Fenix line that I cant afford. Ive been just glancing at some post topics. Seems like it has its minor issues like most other Garmin watches with some simple fixes, most being to just reset it. Ive also read a few reviews that seem mostly positive about it
I like running. Road cycling is ok. Mountain Biking is my go to. Hiking is becoming a personal favorite of mine as well. How well does the Track Back feature work and the Back to State? For those in the military, or familiar with, this thing almost seems like a DAGR I can wear on my wrist for a pretty decent price. (For those who don't know what it is: ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Defens...d_GPS_Receiver )
So basically, is this watch worth it? Does it do what it says it will? Is the lack of the IQ store a hinder to the product? I wanted to hear from you, the folks who are using it.
Thank you,
Jake
