Garmin Instinct heart-rate widget

On the Instinct heart-rate widget it says the current heart-rate in the circle and to the left of the circle it says 95/44, are those numbers saying that the highest my heart rate has been so far today is 95 and the lowest being 44? Thanks in advance these might seem like silly questions.

Basically yes, you got the right idea.

It does use some averaging though, I'm not sure the method, but I've seen instant HR values higher or lower than the Max/Min value shown there. So maybe more like…

The 187/63 shown in this Instinct manual picture of the Heart Rate Widget, the 187 reflects the highest OHR reading in the last 4-hours and the 63 represents the lowest reading in the last 4 hours.

Yes your correct, those are your low and high numbers for the last 4hrs.

A low of 44? That's kind of impressive I think? My recent low is 59 but I'm admittedly not in the best of shape.

The number below the line may indicate:
* minimum heart rate
* recovery heart rate (RHR)
* or resting heart rate ... I would also like to know the answer to your question ...
