Anybody knows how to turn of seconds on the standard watchface. Works on fenix 5.

thats weird. I think it would save some battery

On the built-in digital watchface, if the watch is off your wrist and stationary for about 5 minutes or so, the seconds are no longer displayed - I agree…

Among the built-in watchfaces on the Instinct, there are a few that do not display seconds - you could choose one of those. If you don't like any of them, and choose a watchface that does display seconds, there is no way to turn off just the seconds.

On the built-in digital watchface, if the watch is off your wrist and stationary for about 5 minutes or so, the seconds are no longer displayed - I agree, this is probably done to save battery life. When the watch is picked back up, the seconds display is restored.
