Battery bar issue

Hi everyone.
I’m a new user of Instinct. Last week I upgraded to version 2.8 and this week I noticed a problem with the battery bar.
After 5 days of use since the last recarge, the battery icon still showed al 5 bars. I became suspicious and restart the watch. On rebooting the battery bars became 4, as I expected. However, after a few seconds, exactly when the seconds of the clock change from 59 to 00, the battery icon returns ti show all 5 bars. It seems that at the end of every minute the battery icon has a sort of refresh and returns to show the full bars regardless of the charging status.
Does anyone have the same problem?
Thanks to all.
  • I wouldn't say it's an issue :) when you have always charged watch :)
But seriously I suppose you haven't done any activities since last week and your watch is not connected to the phone? If that then it's normal that you now see an almost fully charged watch. Bars indicators are based on voltage which the battery know has. It means that when you reboot your watch when you else nothing do with it, then battery will be shortly almost fully used because of the processes during boot (processor, flash etc. use) and then after some time your battery goes to its normal (almost nothing) use and of course voltage will be higher then during reboot. Try to start a GPS activity and put a battery datafield and follow its indication and see what happens. Also if you just bought the instinct and charged only once or two times, than its battery works not in full capacity and not stable. You have to go through 5-10 cycles of charging to get it stable with voltage and capacity.
  • I have the same case: bought the watch, first charge - full indicator after 5 days of use (I use HR and phone notifications only).
