Phone Call Notifications Delayed

I recently purchased a vivoactive3, which I returned for an Instinct. Love the Instinct; the only issue I have with it was also one I had with the vivoactive: the phone call notifications are delayed by exactly 8 seconds.

All other notifications are received promptly (similar behavior to what I had on a previous non-Garmin smart watch).

This seems to be a more-common issue, so I thought I would look to the forums for advice on how to correct this delayed behavior, or see if something is in the hopper by Garmin officially.
