I'm having issues with the hourly alert in the SET menu turning off on it's own after being enabled. Also, there appears to be two ways to enable/disable the storm alert: in SET menu and in setting > system > time, yet you can not enable the time alert in the setting > system > time. Are any of you guys having issues with the time alert turning off as well? Thanks.
The System/Time is actually Hourly Alert but is improperly named Storm. It has been fixed with the beta versions. The Storm Alarm setting is done within the Baro widget.
I’ve had numerous issues with settings/widgets/activities being changed on my watches (Tactix Charlie, Descent MK1, 5x Plus). What I’ve chalked it up to being is an issue with GC and the way the settings are syncing. What I’ve found as a remedy, try to do most of your changes and/or settings straight on your watch and not via GC.
Thanks for your reply. I don't use garmin connect, so it would definitely be something with the watch. All alerts (except for sunrise) are enabled so I'm not sure why it's turning off, maybe a glitch that will be fixed in a future update?
