just tried in this morning, no good... even synced by Garmin Express application to make sure I don't miss any update, still no option of chinese in language selection...
got a reply from support team in HK, maybe the one I purchased was English version which cannot have chinese from software update.... :confused: too bad...

Thanks Pegase747 for swapping our Instinct. Now I have it showing chinese messages. From technical POV, it should have no problem with flashing firmware to support different language sets (unless it is burnt on IC). Maybe Garmin not providing such solution in order to avoid grey market.
Hi, I just got new Instinct in Australia but It doesn't have any APAC languages. I want to install APAC language just for notification. Could you pls suggest me how to install that? Thanks
