Navigate setting Navigation setting and other questions

When following a course, from the map screen and with a long pression on the menu button, the following menu appears (I'm translating from Italian, so maybe those are not the exact english words):
- zoom / scroll
- stop course
- navigation setting
- navigate setting
- navigate
- setting
What's the difference between navigation setting and navigate setting?

When importing a course from BaseCamp, some weird numbers follow the name of the course I have created. For example:
-Salita Asilo
-631:37:26 1.30km
What does the 631:37:26 means?
Note that these numbers sometime are set to 0:00:00, for example
-Casa Capitello
-0:00:00 3.01km

I don't see an option in BaseCamp for importing single waypoints or courses. And if tell BaseCamp to syncronize all the waypoints and courses into my Mac with those into the Instinct, it will duplicates waypoints and courses already exported into the Instinct.
  • regarding „navigation settings“ see post #17 here:
    https://forums.garmin.com/forum/on-the-trail/wrist-worn/instinct-aa/1425192-instinct-–-2-76-beta-release/page2

    it confusing me too
  • Thanks Mihailstacanov!

Navigate setting --> Configuration (data screen, virtual partner, autolap, etc) for the app "Navigate" (example of apps: trail running, hiking, navigate, nordic ski etc...)

Navigation setting --> Configuration for navigation within any app.

I understand the need for two similar names. May I suggest Garmin to put somewhere a note about that in the Instinct's user manual?
