Charging of Instinct and Battery Status

Hi all,

how long does your Instinct charge? I put mine on USB 3.0 at Laptop with one bar left and it's already have all bars filled in one hour?
I understand that the battery so small is in comparison fenix 3 HR that instead of 3 hours it is already charged in one hour.
On other side it means that Insinct because lack of color display and connectiq uses less juice.
Also I'd like to see when it finished charging because I do not see when it finished. From starting till now I only battery with small wave inside, watch and moving circle.
Or should I wait more and will see if it's charged? Maybe all bars filled is not an indicator?

Yes it charges very fast. There is an animation in the "eye" and when the animation stops the instinct is charged. The animation is the battery icon and when it is full unplug the instinct.

Ok so I fully charged up on Sun 25th and today is Mon 3rd with everything turned on. I did 3 x 5k runs and 1 x 3k walk. So pretty much 8 days on a full charge getting messages and heart rate sleep tracking etc. Not too shabby. Suck on that Apple.

Yep, pretty same as what I get on the first charge, 8-9 days with everything turned on.

Glad that I hold off getting the AW4. Very satisfied with the Instinct.

Hi! I've got my watch in early December. Until 2.8 version it runs for 7 days with 2-3 short syncs and UltraTac and backlight 20%... Now no more than 2 days even more conservative. I've tried also the new beta ... but not an improvement.

Do you see some degradations of battery life after 2.8 upgrade?
