Instinct – 2.75 Beta Release

Hello Instinct users,

Thank you to everyone for the tremendous response that we've already received this early in the Instinct launch. We are very excited to finally see the Instinct in the market for all to enjoy!

We appreciate you, our customers, who pursue similar passions to our own, and share those stories with us. Not only do you share your stories, but your feedback makes an already fantastic product even better. This we appreciate more than we can express.

Because of our wonderful community we are officially kicking off the Instinct beta program today. We have this program so that we can offer added features, improvements, and bug fixes to our most loyal fans as soon as possible. Please read the 'notes' and 'installation instructions' in the 'Updates and Downloads' page found in the link below. We look forward to your feedback!

  • The update file may still be on the watch ready to install. I have had this problem in the passed too.
My work around was: Hold MENU, and select Settings > System, then scroll to 'Software Update'.

    hi Coolmac,

I tried to as you suggested, but found that the "Software Update" actually was a toggle to turn on/off the auto update.
  • sorry for my stupid, but who can help with updating my instinct to this beta firmware?

I have tried a few times to copy the file to the folder of Garmin while connectin to my MacBook, and unplugged afterward, but there's no prompt about the update pops...
    quite confused

Do you by any chance have an Asia/Pacific (APAC) version of the watch? Usually, APAC version watches are not compatible with general updates - they require a special APAC version update.
