Is anyone able to get their barometric altimeter data from their instinct to sync with Strava?
Everytime I upload a new activity Strava does not use the Instincts altimeter readings, instead recalculates using their own formula to give me a much different elevation gain.
By default Strava should be using barometric altimeter data from devices that have one, especially Garmin devices.
It could be something on Garmins end, such as something not in the FIT file showing barometric atimeter data or on Strava’s end, but it is incredibly frustrating.
My old VA3’s barometric data was uploaded to Strava and matched exactly.
Has anyone had success uploading to Strava? Maybe my Instinct is the problem. Thanks!
