Instinct Solar Battery failing

I have instinct solar (first version) so I’m guessing 3 years old.

The battery life is failing rapidly like it’s never done before, is this an age issue or anyone advise anything else before I’m forced to buy another. Thank you

Rather around 5 years, I'd tell. Garmin Instinct 1st gen was released in 2018, and the Solar version in 2020. Instinct 2 was released in Feb 2022.

If the battery is not physically at the end of its life, some of the tips in the Troubleshooting guide for high battery drain should help.

Thank you yes it’s probably older than I realise then. I’m guessing 5 years old and they begin to fail ? I’ll look at those tips but guess I’ve tried them already. Thank you for your time
