Instinct 1 - Broken no-disturb mode

Hi,

Here’s my situation: I only wear my watch outdoors. When I’m home, I always set it to “Do Not Disturb.”

My usual sleep time is from 1:00 AM to 11:00 AM. However, about a month ago, the “Do Not Disturb” feature started disabling itself in the morning, which is problematic because I get vibrations from notifications during my sleep.

Previously, it worked perfectly—I would manually enable and disable “Do Not Disturb.” The only exceptions were during software or time zone updates when the watch rebooted.

I suspect this issue began after an update to the iOS app, as there haven’t been updates to the watch firmware in a long time.

  • Hello

I am sorry to hear you are having trouble with the Do Not Disturb mode. For this, there are a few things I would initially recommend trying.

    • Ensure the Connect is on the latest version
    • Ensure your sleep times in the Connect app are set correctly. Setting Sleep and Wake Window Times in Garmin Connect
    • Ensure Do Not Disturb During Sleep is enabled. Menu, Settings, System, Do not Disturb, During Sleep.
    • I would also recommend trying a hard reset. For this, hold the Control button until the watch shuts off, as opposed to selecting power off. Then power this on again.
  • Thanks for reply.

Garmin support has already assisted me.

The solution is to DISABLE the "Do Not Disturb During Sleep" option. When this option is enabled, it automatically turns off Do Not Disturb mode every morning.
