Instinct Solar barometer question

Does anyone know if the Solar has the same wonky barometer issues that the original Instinct has?

And as a sidenote, does anyone have any information about when they might release a new version of the Instinct?

I never had any problems with the barometer on my Instinct 1 Solar. It worked just as well as the barometer on the Instinct 2 and instinct 2x.
