Garmin Instinct Solar turns off after starting of any activity

Same here, although I run firmware 19.01 ... I also lost the ability to charge my watch with the solar panel. So far, support is not answering.

Same thing happened to me. I used chat and they sent me a new watch. 

May I know where you buy it?

I am not lucky like you, I buy it in Hong Kong, and they need me to pay 1/3 price of the new watch to repair it.

But I think even if I pay for it, the problem will still happen again, cause it was a production issue.

I bought it in Germany. In the meantime I'm about to get a replacement, and the guy from the support told me that they had production issues that are supposedly fixed. I'm hoping for the best.

Watch functions perfectly until a GPS activity is going. Garmin support wants 140 to replace it. I'm in the US. I'd consider it if they offered to replace it with the Instinct 2.

Others report the replacement they receive are doing it too.

same goes to me, it was happened when i started my activities such as jogging walking and hiking. how i want to fix it?

Downgrade the firmware to version 16.00 and disable automatic update from the settings. I think it is also possible to use the 16.50 "backdate", as they call it, from 17.00 release, available here on the forum.

I was lucky to read the forums when version 17.00 came out and people started complaining. I decided not to upgrade until a more stable version came out and I am happy decided so. That watch has been functioning perfectly fine for almost 3 years now.

I'm on 19.01, I just hard restart (wipe) my data yesterday after it crashed a month ago. This morning when i tried to run my watch suddenly turned off when i tried to start the activity. This really turns me off (no pun intended). Might thinking selling the watch if nothing works.
