Batterry drain

I charged the battery to 100%, turned it off, left it overnight, the battery dropped to 95%. After 15 minutes, the battery is 94%?! I heard that it is not recommended to charge with a laptop or a PC, is that correct? For a few months now because my watch is draining the battery so much, I charge it like that, does this have any effect? If yes, is there any other fix? My watch is out of warranty, and the dealer quoted a replacement battery price close to the price of a new watch.

After a clean reset on a brand new instinct solar I am also experiencing significant drain. 99% to 85% during only part of the night with battery saver on and OHR off.

So I did the soft reset procedure (hold down ctrl button for >30s and it powers off). And then powered up and charged the device to 100%.  So far no rapid drain has occurred. I'll see what tonight yields.

It is a two step fix

    1) soft reset and then power on

    2) charge device to full capacity 100%

Did you charge immediately after soft reset? Being a programmer myself; the chargind may help with recalibrating the battery behavior.
