Instinct solar keeps turning off with no activity.

My Garmin solar shuts down sever times a day. When I restart, it will only run for twenty seconds before shutting down again. This will happen for around ten restarts then it stays on for a few hours. No warning when it will turn off it just happens.

Isn't the Light button stuck, shutting so down the watch? If not, I'd try the master reset to factory defaults, and if it does not help, contact the Support. Thanks, all the buttons seem to be functioning correctly. I have tried a reset so fingers crossed it works.

Mine does the same. Multiple resets but given up with it now as the problem persists.

Yes I have reset twice and it is still happening. Started about a week ago after I updated it from a new laptop.

Lots of bugs in the newer software. As I was typing to you it shut down. 48% battery left. Even have an issue with my solar charging. In direct sunlight it shows full intensity for 10 seconds and then drops to 1/2 or 3/4 intensity level.

The same issue.

I think the issue connected with the battery. It happens during GPS activities or in the normal mode but when the battery charged less 50%.
