Hi all.... I have the Instinct Solar. I have a question about navigation. When using in the circle is a pointer.... for the life of me I can't figure out what its showing me. I use the map in North up. But doesn't seem to related to my direct or where the course is located. I can't find anything in the manual. In fact it doesn't seem to even talk about it in the manual... items 1-3 but nothing about that pointer in the circle.

Also the example below (from the manual) does "475" = 475' to the destination?

Ah makes sense I could have thought it was not behaving as such but maybe it was due to it still updating my location. Thanks for your reply.

If you leave the track, the flag disappears and the distance to the track is shown. In this case the arrow points towards the track (shortest direct way to go back on track).
