Mute sound / backlight and light intensity

I'm using this watch for a few days now, and it's great!

But I'm actually missing some things.

In the backlight settings there're 3 options.

- permanent on

- permanent off

- only on between sunset and sunrise.

But this doesn't makes much sense to me.

- Permanent on is mostly not necessarry during daytime, probably there will be plenty of light, unless you will enter a dark place. But in general turning the light off would have been much more energy sufficient during daytime.

- Permanent off will safe most of the energy, but is unusable during night, in less well lit places or when working inside or underground etc. You could set the time-out time longer and activate/ deactivate the light with the light button. But this is also not verry convenient. And chances are to press the button and light it accidentally for long times.

- The only between sunset and sunrise option gives both the advantages and dissadvantages of the previous options. But only automates this. So this is also not a verry good sollution.

So I was thinking, it would have been great to have a light sensor on the watch to get the backlight activated when there's not a sufficient amount of  light. But this should need a physical upgrade on a newer model then.

But then I was thinking this watch has a solar ring (solar edition), which is delivering a constant charging power when in sufficient light. It even is charging (a bit) in artificial light, so it;s sensitive enough to let it also act as a light sensor. So why not taking advantage of this solar ring and programm it as a "light sensor". When detecting a normall light input (charging rate), then the backlight will be off. When the light level (charging level) drops (or stops) below a certain vallue, then backlight turns on. I think this could be a great software update for the solar editions. With a "switch option" so users could choose the best options, together with them described above, for themselves.

Another setting I'm missing is a silent mode. It would be great to have something like this in the control screen or as a hot key.

I could set the sounds off in the settings menu. But for this I need to dig into the menu settings. I've tried to activate the "do not disturb" function in the control menu. But this still gives sound alerts when starting or preparing an activity (for instance when GPS connects). A quick shortcut to turn off sounds would be a great feature. Especially on a "tactical" watch.
