After the firmware to version 17.50, my Garmin began to malfunction altimeter-barometer-thermometer. After a certain moment, it simply freezes and shows the same indicators (that is, they do not change over time) from all parameters. If you restart the watch, it seems as if the sensors don't work at all. But if you connect it to a computer, after turning it off for a while, the sensors work normally. Update to 18.00 RC did not help. I can provide screenshots.
