Battery suddenly drained

I hope someone can help as this has happened a few times to me - I’ve got a Garmin Instinct Solar surf, in the day the battery said it has 17 days left, went to bed (I have the watch set so it stops tracking after 9pm & starts at 5.30am) and it said I had like 40 days.
Woke this am and the battery has gone and watch is off.
Any help would be much appreciated as I’ve asked Garmin a few times and not got much help.

  • why offer running? Cycling etc if for ‘adventure’ read the post!!!

Why not, it if does not require more expensive or more power hungry hardware?

  • Sorry, when was I offered a replacement?? Or you work for them and offering me one??
I went through all settings in online chat. Had the watch a year. Got offered a ‘refurbished’ one IF I paid a deposit for the watch to get one. Of course I get it back BUT I don’t have extra £300 to pay deposit!!! But guess that’s my fault too!! Many better customer services out there, that’s for sure!!

  • Because then it’s advertising as a ‘fitness’ watch unless track running & treadmill running is ‘adventure’ to you.

  • Sorry, when was I offered a replacement??

You wrote it yourself, you do not want any replacement:

Tbf when contacting Garmin I am still waiting fir a response which isn’t me paying to send a defected watch back and only get a refurbished watch in return.

  • I said refurbished!!!!!! Read the words!! I got my watch REPLACED NEW then yes. why would I want someone else’s watch that got sent back because it was broke then repaired???? Expect more after just having the watch a year and paying £300!!!
