Instinct Solar - Weather Widget - There's definitely a bug over there

Like many other owners, so do I am going nuts with the weather widget inaccuracies on my Instinct Solar.

Read several posts and tried everything, and I mean everything. Still, showing completely far from reality temperatures.

Meanwhile, I noticed something quite strange.

Both in the hourly and daily forecasts, temps are actually correct. Its just the current temp that is completely wrong.

For instance, right now, its shows my current temp is 15 ºC, but then for the next hour (which will come in aprox 30 minutes), it shows the correct temp, 25 ºC.

So, unless the temp is about to increase 10 ºC in the next half an hour, there's definitely a bug here:

1. The watch is actually getting the correct weather data for the next hours and days accordingly to my location.

2. It's just the current temp that is completely wrong.

3. Now, if it's the iOS GC app that is sending the wrong current temp, or if it's the watch itself that is not showing it right, I have no clue.

  • Your weather information originates across the internet being broadcasted regionally. Your phone's cellular data connection or Wi-Fi connection is pulling the weather information through your Connect Mobile APP and then sent to your watch.

  • Thanks for your comment.

    Yet, I'm a bit confused.

I'm reporting a bug, supported with clear evidence, showing that the watch does not show the right current temperature, no matter what. The whole hourly and daily forecasts shows the correct weather info. The bug is that the watch is providing me a piece of information that is 50% correct and the other 50% false.

Your comment explains that the watch gets weather info from the Connect app on my phone, which pulls it from the internet.

I can't see how that would help me or even explain why the watch is behaving like that.

    Thanks.
