  • my instinct solar are tracked my 4 km away from my position....

Did you check if the CPE shows "current" BEFORE the activity ?

Can it be that you have not recorded a GPS position with your watch for a few days ?
The CPE is only valid for a few days. After that, the watch forgets its usual location.

  • Where can I check it? thanks

  • settings - about - scroll down till CPE :

The CPE file is the almanac. In simple terms, this file helps the clock to tell where which satellite is located. Since the position of the satellites changes quickly, this file is always up to date only a few days.

Now after you have been outside, you may get "current" displayed. Therefore you should check the status of the CPE BEFORE each activity.

  • Checked. It shows: Expired.
It can be related to UltraTac tracking? I used watch 3 days ago for tracking a walk.
Also I used UltraTac since 1 year and never had this issue before

  • After the SW update the floor climbed are completely wrong: today is already counting 15 floors, but I have done only 4. Yesterday 49, the day before 54 and four days ago 72 ...  before the update the count was quite correct

  • I noticed with this update watch is frozen for 3 minutes after charging. It stays at 100% charge screen for 3 minutes and none of buttons work. I wonder if there's a way to uninstall 17.0 firmware and go back to previous one?

  • My watch has a same crashing issue, it crashed on saving activities and on any notifications having vibration, the issue started since last months, I tried to disable the vibration feature then the watch seemly less crashed, that was version 16.50. However after upgrading to latest version 17.00, the situation of my watch is even worse, I cannot start any activity, it crashed right on the start.

I've been used it just one year and half, I was really happy earlier with it, it was really good to me, but now it is so disappointing and wasting my time and money.

So the issue has not been fixed, is there any way to revert my watch to the old version 1 year ago?

  • I'm sending an email detailing the issue as well. I created several weight training workouts on Garmin connect and uploaded them after the update. They crash the watch when trying to edit the reps/weight and/or when the lap button is pressed. It used to work just fine.

Error ONLY happens when there are actual reps being registered. i.e just pressing the lap button to go to the next set will not trigger the issue.

  • My Instinct Solar has been rebooting itself whenever trying to navigate a route. Anyone else seeing this issue?
