Unable to properly save an Activity on Instinct Tactical Solar

After a tracking my activity, the 'Save' option under GPS seems to not work all the time - keeps giving me a series (many) of map coordinates, which you in turn 'Save' each of those, then does not stop the activity...manual not very useful on this...occasionally the 'Save' function it works as advertised, but lately not so much. Annoying to say the least.

Sounds like you are Saving your current location by a Long Press of the GPS button. What you are describing is exactly the Save Location function. Try to press the button for a shorter amount of time instead of holding the button. You have the option to remove the Long Press Feature (called Hot Keys) of the GPS button in the System=>Hot Keys menu.

Hi-Thanks for your input and suggestions - I don't think I was pressing the button for any length of time. I attempted to change those Hot key settings as you suggested but found them too confusing and they were not something I knowingly had changed or set in the first place....I reset the device to see if that helps. Will let you know if that worked!
