Instinct Solar automatically report crashes to Garmin?

Hi all,

I went to redo an epic 75 mile road ride while using the "Race an Activity" feature. All was well until I tried adjusting options by pressing and holding the menu button (center left) and scrolling through options. After a few moments of browsing the menu, the watch rebooted. Disappointed So after it came back up, I resumed the activity and tried going back to adjust activity settings... It rebooted again. Worried  After it came back up, I repeated my attempt. It rebooted AGAIN!! Angry Needless to say, I gave up on adjusting the options and just kept riding...

So, my question is: Does the Instinct Solar report back to the mothership crash data each time it crashes and reboots? Or do I have to contact support to do this?

I'd like this to not be a problem.. I'm rather disappointed that 3 months shy of 2 years after its release, it still has stability/usability issues...

Thanks,
