Will we get new Instinct 2 software features ?

Now since Instinct 2 is out, will any of the newer features like VO2 Max come to Instinct Solar ? Asking this because I remember Body battery came to Original Instinct when it was released in Instinct Solar.

    Of course that's true, but with Fenix and Forerunner, new metrics sometimes do trickle down to lower, older units.  The sensor in the Solar can do VO2 max in other watches can, right?

    I reached out to the local, official Garmin distributor and they are also on the opinion that the hardware computing capacity is not enough in the first gen Instincts to provide any of the new features of the gen 2 devices. What a pity!

    I seriously doubt that they will implement anything new, but I'd say that at least new watch faces are technically feasible with the current HW. But seeing how they ignored all suggestions for even technically small changes and even if they are fully aware that they screwed up something they refuse to commit to fixing it, I lost my faith in Garmin as a user oriented company. It's just yet another big company with planned obsolescence.

    I would prefer to solve all the bugs of the Instinct 1 before even thinking of of any new features
