Garmin Instinct 16.50 Update - altimeter problem

Please repair the altimeter calibration, becouse after update, altimeter is very inaccurate.

Yes, I am ready to confirm that the altimeter and barometer began to work incorrectly on version 16.50. The barometer randomly began to change readings: 733,3 - 790,2 (!!!). Altimeter : 48 - (-180) !!…

Yes, I am ready to confirm that the altimeter and barometer began to work incorrectly on version 16.50. The barometer randomly began to change readings: 733,3 - 790,2 (!!!). Altimeter : 48 - (-180) !!! . In fact, it has become impossible to use this sensor.

For those experiencing this issue, what exactly are you seeing and how can other users reproduce the issue? I am on 16.50 and when I pull up the altimeter it stays steadily within a 1-2 foot range. Barometer also holds steady. I've yet to hear an explanation of the issue other than "It's broke".

Hi,

In my case the barometer is almost perfect but the altimeter is a mess. Where I live the elevation is 4 but my watch goes from 4 to -11 or -33 sometimes to +25. Even after a manual calibration it stays stable for a few hours and after the altimeter goed up and down again.

I just rolled back to firmware 16.0 so hope it will be better then 16.50.
