Golden contacts on watch without cover?

Hi guys,

I just got my Instinct Solar Tactital from Amazon and I'm wondering about the uncovered contacts to plug. Is it normal like this?

Normal. No need for a cover.

I rinse after each exercise and have never had an issue.

There is no need for a cover, any cover would just trap water etc. People that used a third party cover said they experienced corrosion - because it traps water etc.
