Why does my Instinct Solar alert me when I place a call?

Inquiring minds would like to know. I found an article in the F6 forum from two years back but didn't see any resolution.

Just as an FYI, COROS watches allow the user to enable/disable notifications independently without having to change the phone's notification settings. And, you can enable/disable each of the major apps independently. IE, I can enable Phone, text, Twitter, but disable Facebook, WhatsApp, etc etc right in the COROS app.

Is it possible for Garmin Connect do the same? I can't seem to find anything that detailed.

Yes, it's possible at least for Android. On your phone in Garmin Connect app go to Settings > Notifications > App Notifications. Turn OFF "All Applications" slider and enable notifications only for apps you want. I have it only for phone, text, and emails while everything else is disabled.

Nope, doesn't exist in iOS. Under mine it says Push Notifications and Email Notifications, and there is nothing related to outside of the Garmin Connect app or Garmin related communications itself.
