My watch gave a storm alert where the pressure indicator was flat. I also checked the pressure value which did not exceed the threshold (for storm alert). Is there a bug in firmware version 16.00?
Does anybody experience such event?

Yes I've experienced this before. It's very likely to happen after floor climbing. The watch falls to detect your movement when you climb, and it will take this as rapid barometric change rather than elevation change. Then after some time, it realizes that you were having a elevation change, and it calibrates the barometric reading, which is usually much higher or lower than the previous abnormal reading. Because of these rapid changes, the watch gives you a storm alert.
And there's another reason. Simply because the barometer port on the back of the watch is somehow blocked, it gives abnormal barometric reading. The barometer port on Instinct is easy to get blocked, which is definitely a design flaw. I hope they change this in the next generation.
I agree with your explanation. However the watch had been on my table for quite sometime when it gave the alert. I.e. there was no change of elevation & nothing blocked the sensor port.
