Instinct Solar - 16.41 Public Beta

Hello Instinct Solar customers,

16.41 Change Log Notes:

  • Fixed potential issue where watch face would not display in the correct orientation.
  • [Surf] Improved wave detection in Surf activities.

    Hi, did anyone test this new software update in surf activity ? Is the wave detection really improved ? When the Beta become final release ? Thx a lot

    If I install the beta version, when the stable version comes out, will it update itself? or do I have to continue with beta?
    Thank you, wanting to try the surf update, the most expected in a year.

    I just perform my watch update to 16.41 beta. Easy update process. Already looks good but I'm waiting for some waves to try the surf app  improvement.

    I have already done tests, specifically 3, today was the day with the best weather and surf conditions, that's why I send my assessment.
    I see a great advance, the detection of waves and what it marks on the clock in terms of speeds and distances is good, I do not know if it is perfect, but it is much better, the number of waves coincides more or less, I understand that an exact precision is difficult, but approximate as now.

    There is one thing missing to solve, and that is to represent the waves well in the application and on the map, it does very badly, that has not changed. I upload screenshots comparing the two applications.
