Instinct Solar Font Twisted and Overlapped on Watch Face

Software ver. 15.10

My title is already self-explanatory. And here are the pictures. Also have video recorded.

This is a good watch and is my favorite. If these small issues are solved, user experience would be improved.

You can see clearly this is the overlap of 3 and 4. I encounter this quite often.

The issue appears to be a SE Asia APAC specific issue on software v15.10. The issue has been reported to engineering to get resolved with a new SE Asia APAC software update.

Garmin Express shows 15.10 is the latest version for watches sold in China. So I can't update to 16.00.

Probable technical answer, but unfortunately not something solvable without the developers at Garmin recompiling the firmware: On the '93' and '94' images, the font on my watch is about 3/4 of that width. I expect the update region has been assumed on the default font rather than calculating it on the per-language font. I believe that's why you're getting about 3/4 of the monitor updating.

I believe the display uses Static RAM (I'm guessing a Sharp panel). What that means is, that it requires a bit more power to supply the changes to display pixels than it does to hold the display static, so you can end up with inconsistencies if things like that get forgotten.

Probably no help, but the devs will know what I mean.

software ver.16.12 has been released for APAC watch, but the issue still exists.
