Instinct Solar Floor Climb Malfunctioning

There are two things that need to happen for the watch to count stairs:

1. Change in altitude.

2. Walking.

If you climbed the stairs but failed to swing your arm naturally as if you were walking, then the watch might have ignored the climb.

Thank but this is not the first time the issue occurs. And I swung my arms intentionally while naturally to avoid the problem you mentioned.

Yup. Instinct solar is totaly useless for floor counting....

On any software version. Not just on yours. 

I have exactly the same problem on my Instinct 2 Solar. Out of 3 sets of climb I did over 3 weekends 2 of the sets the climb stopped half way and would not count any more. Can't imagine this problem hasn't been fixed after such a long time. Better get the basics right than keep releasing new models. Pls fix this bug.
