My Instinct Solar Shuts off esp. when there is no motion i.e. sleeping or its off my wrist. Takes three pushes of Control button to come back to life.

Hi, I am facing the same issue for a month now. I don't know from which software version it started but right now I have the latest one, 15.40 and my watch shuts off everytime. It's annoying!

I have the same problem. I took it to the Garmin Customer Service here in Hong Kong. They said that they did a check up but found nothing wrong with it.

Hi, mine actually got replaced with a brand new one and it's all good now. For the first one I had to fork out S$190 for the first replacement as it was out of warranty. They gave me a refurbished one with 3 month's warranty, which ended up making strange sounds after 2 months. Went back and they gave me a brand new one, which has been working great thus far (2 months in, fingers crossed)

I read that you're supposed to charge it for a full 24 hours straight out of the box before you start wearing it... I'm starting to wonder if it really makes a difference?
