My Instinct Solar Shuts off esp. when there is no motion i.e. sleeping or its off my wrist. Takes three pushes of Control button to come back to life.

What software version are you using? Tried updating?

Also tried to do a factory reset?

Hi, I am facing the same issue for a month now. I don't know from which software version it started but right now I have the latest one, 15.40 and my watch shuts off everytime. It's annoying!

Tried a factory reset one hour ago and it seems stable so far. I'll see.

I am having the same problem, I think it is tied to the oxygen sensor. My watch shuts down while sleeping after I have had to go in to the activities settings and turn it on. Something is wrong with the watch.

I have the same problem.  I took it to the Garmin Customer Service here in Hong Kong.  They said that they did a check up but found nothing wrong with it.

Hi mayumib, are you referring to the PulseOx Sleep Tracking sensor? That one has been off since I first got it and I still face the same issue as everyone else.

I was able to chat with support and sent them my watch and got a refurbished one. No problems so far but I don’t use the pulse Ox at night for sleeping, I don’t wear it at night at all.  The refurbished one works great

I have the same issue. It shuts off all the time, takes 3 -4 attempts to switch it back one, which lasts for seconds.  I have factory resent 3 times plus. has to be one of the worst watches I have every purchased.
