Instinct 2?

I'm planning to get Instinct because it is similar to a G Shock.

I don't know when was the first Instinct released?

Any news about the next generation?

Ant recommendation will be appreciated.

Do you recommend Instinct Solar or GBDH1000?

Navigation was important for me when I upgraded.

So ... GBD would not cut it at all.
