Impossible to install the updated software

Hi,

New to forum, I hope you will be able to help me.

I have an instinct solar, all activities deleted, memory is completely clean.

Still, in Garmin express, it says I must update the soft, but then I got the message: impossible to install the updated software because the memory of your device is full.

But i delete everything from the watch ...

What can I do ?

The watch should delete enough files and make space when it completes a full sync with Garmin. Have you completed a full sync through the phone app? what firmware is the watch currently on? when you say memory is clean - did you manually connect the watch as mass storage and delete files/folders or did you do it through the watch settings - system - reset?

Justo to add to notes:

1. If you did delete your activities and so with a Mac, do no forget to empty the trash. Otherwise, the deleted files will still be occupying space.

2. You may delete the language files that you do not need. There is some space to be saved there.
