I am getting some strange readings from my Instinct Solar today (March 15th). In two leisurely strolls to the grocery store today my heart rate apparently shot up to HIIT territory, maxing out at almost 170BPM on the second walk. I know pretty well what a HR of 170 feels like and it definitely didn't feel like I was exerting myself in any way. I have never experienced this behavior from the watch before, nor on my last instinct. I have attached a screenshot of my HR graph for today, and the two days before (March 14th and 13th). On March 14th I was running around in the streets with my three year old son in the afternoon, which the watch picked up on, and the HR graph seems much more in line. Same goes for March 13th, where I took a 3km walk with my son around town, which the watch registered more or less correctly. All these readings are from the wrist-based optical HR reader attached to the watch.
Has anyone else experienced similar jumps in HR readings?
